Frequently Asked Questions:
What work environments will the Terra Albany safety shoes work well in?
Light to medium duty environments environments like manufacturing and warehousing. They are a great option for anyone who is standing or walking a lot during their work day on hard, concrete surfaces. With a leather upper and moisture wicking lining, they are also breathable.
Are Terra Albany safety shoes safety certified?
Yes. They are certified Grade 1 with a composite toe and plate e They are also ESR-rated (Electric Shock Resistant), which means the soles provide a secondary level of protection against electrical shock hazards. Did you know that when required to wear protective footwear, you have options beyond traditional steel toe shoes or steel toe boots? Composite toe safety shoes & work boots are an excellent alternative. Composite toe safety shoes are often lighter than steel toe shoes and provide the same levels of protection.
Are the Terra Albany safety shoes waterproof?
No, they aren't water repellant but not waterproof. So if you are standing in water or exposed to moisture and weather for long periods of time, you should look for safety shoes that are waterproof. Read our blog on the differences between water repellant, waterproof and water resistant

Work boots and safety shoes should fit well when you buy them. Your toes shouldn't be able to wiggle and not touch the toe cap. Your heel should sit snuggly but not too tight. Because of the safety features (toe and plate) built into safety shoes and work boots, they don't loosen up like regular shoes or boots might. We recommend wearing them for a few hours at home before wearing them for a full day of work. After all, you wouldn't wear brand new shoes to go on an 8-hour hike!
This shoes was the best safety shoe I ever had. It was comfortable and cool. Please go buy it. You won’t regret.
was good once shoes were approved no issue
They are the best work shoes, but not just for work, wear them all the time. Have been getting them for over 10 years now.
Third time purchase of the same work shoe. Previous one lasted 10 years, daily use, year round. Amazing that I could still repurchase the exact same shoe again after so many years. Very comfortable and durable. Easy buy online. With free delivery, cheaper than Amazon. Highly recommended.
I have purchased this style of safety shoe for several decades. Shoes are comfortable although it was a bit irritating for the first week or so until they got worn in. This has been my preferred brand for a long time when I was able to find them. Service at store was excellent, particularly since I was the only customer in the store at the time.
