    Shipping & Returns

    IN STORE RETURNS

If you aren’t 100% satisfied with your purchase you can return your unused or unworn footwear or clothing to any of our stores up to 100 days after the date of purchase as long as you have the original receipt. Unfortunately, we don’t accept copies of receipts.

If you don’t have the original receipt, and we are able to verify your Mister Safety Shoes purchase, we will gladly offer an exchange or store credit. Refunds DO require the original receipt.

What if it’s a manufacturer’s defect? We stand behind all the products we sell. That’s why you can exchange any manufacturer defective footwear up to 6 months from the date of purchase.

Good to know: Refunds are made in the same form of the original payment method you used, so if you paid with a credit or debit card, we’ll refund the purchase on your credit or debit card.

    ONLINE ORDER RETURNS

If you aren’t 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can return your unused or unworn footwear or clothing for a full refund or exchange within 100 days of you receiving your shoes. We offer FREE returns for orders over $125 (not including discounts). Please contact our customer service department to request a return shipping label.

For online orders under $125, in extreme locations noted above, we do not offer free returns.

You also have the option of returning your online purchase at any one of our store locations.

There are a few simple steps to follow:

    • Please return your shoes WITH ORIGINAL PACKAGING. If you do not have the original mailing box, please use another mailing box. Please do not use the original shoe box to mail the package. The shoe box will become unusable due to the labels that will be attached to it and to the damage it will invariably receive in shipping.
    • Mister Safety Shoes will provide you with a Canada Post shipping identification number. Please contact us at customerservice@mistersafetyshoes.com and we will email it to you. Print this and bring it with your package to your nearest Canada Post location.
    • Please include your Mister Safety Shoes invoice. Any notes you wish to make can be handwritten on either of these pages.

    ONLINE ORDER SHIPPING

For a limited time, we are offering free shipping within most regions of Canada for online orders over $125 (not including discounts).

Please note there are a number of geographic locations within Canada that do not qualify for free shipping. These locations include: Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland, Yukon, North West Territories and Nunavat. Shipping fees are based on location and weight of the purchase. Please contact our Mister Safety Shoes Customer Service team for a shipping quote: customerservice@mistersafetyshoes.com

    FAQs
    1. Are the composite toe and plate of these safety shoes as safe as steel toe shoes?

Yes, composite or metal-free safety shoes and work boots provide the same levels of protection as steel toe shoes. Composite toe safety shoes & work boots are often lighter than steel toe shoes and provide the same levels of protection. To find out more about the differences, read our blog on What are the Differences Between Composite Toe, Aluminum Toe and Steel Toe Safety Shoes and Boots.

    2. What is the break-in period for work boots and safety shoes?

Work boots and safety shoes should fit well when you buy them. Your toes shouldn't be able to wiggle and not touch the toe cap. Your heel should sit snuggly but not too tight. Because of the  safety features (toe and plate) built into safety shoes and work boots, they don't loosen up like regular shoes or boots might. We recommend wearing them for a few hours at home before wearing them for a full day of work. After all, you wouldn't wear brand new shoes to go on an 8-hour hike!

    3. Are these work boots waterproof?

Yes, these are waterproof work boots and are ideal for outdoor work or indoor work with exposure to moisture and liquids. If your job site has only light or occasional exposure to water, moisture or liquids then water-resistant work boots may be a better option as they are more breathable. To learn more about the differences, read our blog on Waterproof, water repellent, water resistant: what's right for your work?

    4. Do these safety shoes provide ankle protection?

Yes, these safety shoes do provide moderate ankle support. If you are looking for a more serious ankle support, check out our 6" or 8" work boots.

    Slippery

The soles on these boots become extremely slippery in subzero temperatures. Not safe for wearing in snow and icy conditions. Very disappointed in the purchase of these boots.

    Best Boot

Keen has been my go to for years. I’m a utility worker and on my feet a lot. These are comfortable and last a long time. I’ve even convinced people who were brand loyal elsewhere and they haven’t regretted the switch. Last year I tried the Blundstone and regretted it all year. I finally bought my new Keens and couldn’t be happier.

Greatest work boots of all time

These boots are the BEST work boots I have ever owned. Going to be buying my second pair soon as the first are literally falling apart. I work on a farm and these boots are subjected to animal waste, mud, water, you name it. They've taken a beating and have been walked in for around 2500km if my math is right; they don't owe me a damn thing, so I forgive them for quitting out on me. Every other pair of boots I own has lasted 6-7 months total, but these guys are still keeping my feet dry even with the leather upper shoe peeling away from the degrading sole. Super comfortable for all seasons, easy to walk in, great ankle support. Love the heavy-duty metal grommets and yanked on those things so hard one broke - but I could STILL tighten the laces just how I needed. Perfection. God help me if Keen discontinues these for any reason.
